Does microneedling hurt?+
Not in the way most people fear. The skin is numbed with a topical cream for 30 to 45 minutes first, after which the pen registers closer to a vibration or light scratch than pain. Bonier zones — the forehead, around the nose — tend to feel more.
Does microneedling help acne scarring?+
It is one of the strongest non-surgical options for depressed (atrophic) acne scarring. Each session re-triggers collagen remodelling that works to gradually soften and smooth the scar over a course of treatments, and pairing it with PRP or RF energy can speed the process.
How long is a typical course?+
