Bio-Liquid Needling, needle-free.

The needle-free bridge between a facial and device skin needling — Korean spicule science, delivered with nurse-led clinical precision.$299 · 60 minutes, including a skin assessment

What it is

Korean skin renewal, without needles.

Bio-Liquid Needling is our name for a needle-free Korean skin renewal facial built around the Dr Esthé skincare range — a professional Korean cosmeceutical line. Instead of a device or injections, microscopic freshwater-sponge spicules are massaged into the skin, where they open temporary micro-channels and carry active ingredients deeper than a surface facial can reach.

It sits between a HydraFacial and device skin needling: gentler and needle-free, yet designed to work deeper. Skin may appear smoother, brighter and more refined as it renews — individual results vary, and a short course is typically recommended.

Dr Esthé is a skincare brand name, not a medical title. The entire facial is topical — no needling device, no injections and no anaesthetic.

How it works

01

Settle

Around one million silica spicules — hydrolysed from freshwater sponge — are dot-applied across the face in a cream texture, settling into the outer skin layer.

02

Open

The spicules open temporary micro-channels — the needle-free way — helping the infused Dr Esthé actives absorb deeper than a surface facial.

03

Renew

They stay active in the skin for up to 48 hours, so the renewal process continues quietly after you leave the clinic.

Two protocols

Matched to your skin, not a menu.

We work with the two Dr Esthé professional protocols. Monica selects and tailors one to your skin at your consultation.

The rejuvenation protocol

DR SPI-CURE

Built to renew and refine — the choice when the goal is smoother, brighter, more resilient-looking skin over a short course.

The resurfacing protocol

PEEL-N-GLOW

A more resurfacing route for dullness and uneven texture, delivering a fresh, luminous finish. Monica selects between the two at your consultation.

Honest downtime

A 24–48 hour tingle.

Expect mild redness and a prickly, tingling sensation for 24 to 48 hours as the spicules stay active and your skin renews. Most people return to their day straight away and leave makeup off until the next morning.

We’d rather you know that going in — it’s the treatment working, and it passes.

Questions

Good to know.

What is bio-liquid needling?+

Bio-Liquid Needling is a needle-free Korean skin renewal facial using the Dr Esthé professional skincare range. Microscopic freshwater-sponge spicules are massaged into the skin to create micro-channels and carry active ingredients deeper, without a device or injections. Dr Esthé is a skincare brand name — not a medical title.

Is there any downtime after bio-liquid needling?+

There is minimal downtime. Expect mild redness and a prickly, tingling sensation for 24 to 48 hours, and skin may feel dry or tight as it renews. Most people return to normal activities the same day and leave makeup off until the next day.

How many sessions will I need?+

You may notice a change after one session, but a course of three to four sessions spaced a few weeks apart is typically recommended, followed by occasional maintenance. Monica will map a plan at your consultation. Individual results vary.

Is bio-liquid needling suitable during pregnancy?+

It is often suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding, when device needling and some peels are not — but this is always confirmed at your consultation, with the protocol and ingredients tailored to you.

How is bio-liquid needling different from microneedling?+

Microneedling uses a device with fine needles; bio-liquid needling is needle-free, using sponge spicules applied topically. It sits between a HydraFacial and device skin needling — gentler and needle-free, yet designed to work deeper than a surface facial.

What aftercare is involved?+

Keep skincare simple and hydrated, pause active ingredients for about a week, avoid direct sun for five to seven days and skip heavy exercise for 24 hours. You will receive tailored aftercare guidance on the day.
