Bookings and appointments
Appointments can be made via our online booking system (powered by Timely), by phone on 0449 951 366, or by email at hello@eternitylaser.com.au.
By making a booking, you confirm that:
- You are 18 years of age or older, or that a parent or legal guardian has consented on your behalf if you are under 18.
- The information you provide at the time of booking (including your name, contact details and any relevant health disclosures) is accurate and complete.
- You understand that a consultation is required before certain treatments, and you agree to attend that consultation before proceeding.
Appointment times are allocated specifically for you. Late arrival may result in a shortened treatment time or rescheduling of your appointment, at our discretion, with no reduction in the treatment fee.
Cancellation and no-show policy
We understand that plans change. We ask for your courtesy in letting us know as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule, so that we can offer your appointment time to another client.
Cancellation Notice Requirements
- 48 hours or more notice — No charge. You may reschedule or receive a full refund of any deposit.
- Less than 48 hours notice — A late cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled treatment fee applies. Any deposit paid will be forfeited and applied towards this fee.
- No-show (failure to attend without notice) — The full treatment fee is charged. Pre-paid amounts are forfeited. Future bookings may require full pre-payment at our discretion.
To cancel or reschedule, please contact us via your booking confirmation link, by phone on 0449 951 366, or by email at hello@eternitylaser.com.au. Cancellation requests outside business hours are recorded at the time of receipt.
We reserve the right to waive cancellation fees in genuine emergency circumstances at our sole discretion.
Consultations and medical clearance
All new clients are required to attend a complimentary consultation before commencing certain treatments. This allows our clinician to assess your skin, understand your goals, identify any contraindications, and design a personalised treatment plan that is safe and appropriate for you.
You must disclose all relevant medical information during your consultation and on your intake form, including:
- Current medications, including over-the-counter medicines, supplements and topical products
- Known allergies or sensitivities
- Relevant medical conditions, including autoimmune conditions, skin disorders, clotting disorders or active infections
- Previous aesthetic treatments, including injectables, lasers and energy-based devices
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding status
- History of keloid scarring or abnormal wound healing
Failure to disclose material information may result in treatment not being appropriate or safe for you. We may decline to treat or may pause a treatment if we identify a contraindication that was not previously disclosed. In such cases, cancellation fees may still apply if the information withheld was within your knowledge.
For certain treatments (including some cosmetic injectables), we may request written medical clearance from your GP or treating specialist before proceeding. This requirement is in place for your safety.
Results and treatment outcomes
Important — AHPRA & TGA Compliance Notice
In accordance with AHPRA advertising guidelines for registered health practitioners and the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) Advertising Code, we do not guarantee specific treatment outcomes or results. All aesthetic treatments produce individual results. Your response to treatment depends on many factors including your age, skin type, lifestyle, underlying health conditions and adherence to aftercare instructions.
Any before-and-after photographs or client testimonials displayed on our website or social media channels represent individual results and are not a guarantee that you will achieve the same outcome.
We will always provide you with an honest assessment of what you can realistically expect from a treatment during your consultation. We will not recommend a treatment that we do not believe is appropriate for you.
Results from collagen-stimulating treatments such as Sofwave and microneedling are cumulative and build progressively over weeks to months. Multiple treatment sessions may be required to achieve your desired outcome.
Consent to treatment
Before any treatment commences, you will be asked to sign a written consent form. This form confirms that:
- You have been informed about the nature, purpose, expected benefits and potential risks of the proposed treatment.
- You have had the opportunity to ask questions and that your questions have been answered to your satisfaction.
- You understand that you may withdraw consent at any time before or during a treatment.
- You agree to follow the pre- and post-treatment aftercare instructions provided by your clinician.
Consent to one treatment does not constitute consent to future treatments. A fresh consent process applies each time a new treatment is introduced to your plan.
Photography and image consent
We may take clinical photographs before, during and after your treatment for the purposes of documenting your progress and supporting your ongoing care. These clinical photos are stored securely as part of your health record and are subject to the privacy protections described in our Privacy Policy.
Clinical photographs are taken only with your knowledge and consent. You may decline clinical photography at any time.
If you consent to the use of your photographs for marketing purposes — for example, on our website, social media channels or in promotional materials — this consent is captured separately on a distinct marketing consent form. Marketing consent is entirely optional, is never a condition of receiving treatment, and may be withdrawn at any time by contacting us at hello@eternitylaser.com.au. Upon withdrawal, we will remove your images from active marketing use as soon as reasonably practicable.
Payment terms
Payment for treatments is due at the time of service, unless alternative arrangements have been confirmed in writing by us in advance.
We accept the following payment methods:
- Visa and Mastercard (credit and debit)
- Cash (exact change appreciated)
- Bank transfer (by prior arrangement only)
Prices for treatments are displayed on our website and treatment menu. Prices are inclusive of GST where applicable. We reserve the right to update our pricing from time to time. Any price changes will not affect appointments already confirmed and paid.
Gift vouchers are available for purchase and are valid for 36 months from the date of issue. Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, but are fully transferable.
Treatment packages and prepaid courses are non-refundable once the first treatment in a series has been completed, except as required by the Australian Consumer Law (see Section 9).
Refund policy
Australian Consumer Law — Your Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). Our services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.
Change of mind. Aesthetic treatments are personalised, time-limited professional services. We do not offer refunds where you simply change your mind about a treatment after it has been completed. This is consistent with the Australian Consumer Law, which does not require refunds for change-of-mind in the context of professional services.
Treatment complications or adverse reactions. If you experience a complication or adverse reaction following a treatment performed at our clinic, please contact us immediately. We will assess your situation carefully and in good faith. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a complimentary review appointment, remedial treatment, a partial refund or a referral to an appropriate medical professional. We handle each situation individually and with genuine care for your wellbeing.
Failed services. If a service is not delivered with due care and skill, or is not fit for purpose, you may be entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, which may include a refund, re-performance of the service or compensation for any loss suffered.
Prepaid packages — clinic-initiated cancellation. If we are unable to complete a prepaid treatment course due to the closure or discontinuation of the service, we will refund the unused portion of your prepayment in full.
To make a complaint or request a refund, please contact us at hello@eternitylaser.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact NSW Fair Trading on 13 32 20 or visit fairtrading.nsw.gov.au.
Aftercare and your responsibilities
The effectiveness and safety of your treatment depends in part on following the aftercare instructions provided by your clinician. These instructions will be given to you verbally and in writing at the time of your treatment.
Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect your results or increase the risk of adverse reactions. We are not liable for outcomes that are directly attributable to non-compliance with aftercare advice.
If you have concerns about your skin following a treatment — including unexpected reactions, prolonged discomfort or changes that worry you — please contact us promptly at 0449 951 366 rather than waiting for your next scheduled appointment. We are always here to support you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific treatment giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for:
- Any indirect, consequential or incidental loss, including loss of income, business or opportunity;
- Outcomes that are within the normal range of variation for the treatment provided;
- Adverse outcomes arising from information you withheld or failed to disclose at consultation;
- Outcomes caused by your failure to follow aftercare instructions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Conduct at the clinic
We are committed to providing a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for all clients and staff. We ask that you:
- Arrive on time for your appointment.
- Treat all staff with courtesy and respect.
- Inform us of any changes to your health or medications since your last visit.
- Attend alone for treatment appointments, unless you require a support person for accessibility reasons or unless we have confirmed otherwise (such as for a parent accompanying a minor client).
We reserve the right to refuse service or ask a client to leave the premises if their behaviour is disrespectful, threatening or otherwise inappropriate. In such circumstances, the treatment fee remains payable.
Dispute resolution
If you have a concern or complaint about our services, we genuinely want to hear from you and resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
Step 1. Contact us directly at hello@eternitylaser.com.au or by phone on 0449 951 366. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and work with you to reach a fair resolution.
Step 2. If we are unable to resolve the dispute directly, either party may refer the matter to a recognised mediation service, with costs to be borne equally unless otherwise agreed.
Step 3. If mediation is unsuccessful, the parties may pursue resolution through the courts of New South Wales. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Nothing in this clause prevents you from making a complaint to NSW Fair Trading, the OAIC, AHPRA or any other regulatory body with jurisdiction over the subject matter of your complaint.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, and the parties submit to that jurisdiction.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, practices or legal obligations. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of our services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
